The interface and gameplay are the same as Hound of the Baskervilles, and the voice acting is similarly crummy. Mina Harker is American (for some reason), and Dracula manages to sound both overplayed and robotic. The story is some nebulous guff about the Queen of Vampires and her implausible minions covering the world in red goo, with an extra chapter about Pluto being the father of all evil.Hold up a crucifix to this game, and walk away.. This was a fun hidden object. The storyline was pretty basic, the voice acting was actually hilariously good. the actors took their job VERY seriously. Got this one during the steam summer sale and it was fun!. fun game. Love the game, and is familyar to me Vlad Dracul is always goin to be the Count of Transilvania,if u like puzzel solving and mind thinking game this is the one.Have fun ;). I actually liked the story line on this one and the graphics were pretty good. The puzzle and hidden object games kept me searching. I enjoyed it.. This is a fairly routine point and click/hidden object adventure game. It's got a hint mode which helps.Unfortunately the game doesn't properly support widescreen so you get a distorted aspect ratio, which detracts from any enjoyment you might get as an ultracasual puzzle gamer. Also it seems a bit Anne Rice which some people might like.. Having played and enjoyed the first game in the series, I was looking forward to this sequel. To my surprise, although this is a continuation of the story, as far as the game itself is concerned, the developer went into a very different direction. Whilst the original game was a straight up point-and-click Adventure game, the sequel is more of a puzzle game akin to the Myst games. You basically traverse the world, going from room to room and location to location solving puzzles. The art of the game is great and it is fully voiced albeit in a corny B-movie style that still suites the game in my opinion. As far as the puzzle are concerned, whilst most of the straight up puzzles were logical and fun, I found the game's heavy reliance of items searching within sttaic backdrops to be tedious and not fun at all. The game does throw you a bone in the form of hints from Igor though which releives the frustation. Still I would have liked to have A LOT less items search puzzles =)All in all, I can recommend this game to fans of the Dracula mythos and fans of puzzle games.. I really enjoyed this game - while being primarily Hidden Object with a story, the art and music are lovely. The voice acting did seem a bit overdone, although Van Hellsing's was good. There was a good variety of puzzles, and while most seemed very easy, a couple did actually stump me. I think this was worth my $10.. Dracula: Love Kills is a hidden item and puzzle game. I enjoy these types of games as a welcome break from frenetic action games. This one is particularly good this time of year (I played it 3 weeks before Halloween). The story is fun and the voice acting is cheesy/good. The painted artwork is lovely and the settings add a nice gothic atmosphere. The puzzles range from quite easy to very challenging, but you should never get stuck because there is a hint system available and an option to skip puzzles if needed, thereby eliminating frustrations and letting you move on with the story. The game is a good value for the $10 pricetag. It has a lot of replayability since you'll often want to retry areas to improve your time or chase achievements. If you enjoy hidden item games, I would also suggest the Midnight Mysteries series. Happy Gaming.
